    Default Sweet

This thread now officially appears in google in one of the top spots.
We welcome people to join this great forum to discuss about this great product.

Regarding Overlay's... I'm thinking about making this stickers/vinyls to put in between the g-keys...because for sure remembering them can be a bit overwhelming... as soon as I make it happen, I'll post pics:cool:

    Default Example of simple overlays

This is just a very quick example of what I am looking for, this was made in ms word very primitively, but hey it allows me to remember what I set the keys for.

This is an overlay for the g510

I'm positve something more prefsessional looking can be made, im thinkin autoadhesive vinyl or something that wont move
I simply used bond paper for testing purposes

Those are just strips of paper with the application icon printed on them.
Since everyone will have thier keys set differently, you'd have to make a different one for each person,
and on top of that, you'd have to do new ones each time a G-Key assignment was changed.

That was the point of the G15 Overlays, there was space, while not a whole lot thereof,
to write what was on each key, and when written in pencil, easily changeable when necessary,
without having to print a new one.

As I said before, aside from the fact that I do not have a G510 that I could work with,
there's just not enough space to make the effort of making a proper Overlay for the G510 worthwhile.

Having said that, if you want to donate a G510 to me, I'm sure I could work something out....

this shouldn't be as hard as you make it out to be. all you would need is to go to your local art store and buy some sticker paper, then print the logos that you want onto the paper and then cut them to size and stick onto your keys

For those that -do- wanna play around with a G510 overlay, here's a template from DeviantART. Maybe somebody will get some use out of it; I plan to try.
