Thread: G19 & G13 Backlight Colour Cycle Script

White Hawk this is my favourite script !!!! Can you tell me if its possible to as well as having this script start up with windows, can i add a line in the script somewhere to get the logitech picture viewer to start up on windows start as well ? Could you tell me wha the line is and where to put it ? Sorry but i have no idea when it comes to scripting.

Just right click the profile and make it default. That will mean that if no other profile is running, that one will.

I'm afraid that it's not possible to dictate which applet is running via scripts. :(

Dam:( its so annoying having to log in everytime and turn the viewer applet on manually. Thanks for the reply and fantastic script ! cheers mate

What actions does it take to turn on the applet? You could create a default template that on activation does all the steps needed to load it, or even make a batch file that is run on start up.

hey Hawk it's been a while uh

im having a little issues here... more precisely issues with this new soft from Logitech, the Logitech Gaming Software which involves and controls various devices with actually one executable.

i use to have the G19, got tired of it, now im with G510 plus a headphone the G930.. they both are controlled by the LGS 8.20.74 and well the big problem is that the program is freezing..

it freezes 1 sec every 5 secs, and that freezing is causing me problems, cuz when i try to vol up or vol down, or type or anything with the keyboard or the headphone nothing happens, and everything i did just goes "live" after that one froze sec.

and the freezes are related to the script, because when i try a new profile with no script attached to it everything works fine without one single little froze sec.

it may appear a joke, well it's just ONE sec, but well it's uncomfortable enough to make me post this comment and ask for help.

Hawk, u have any thoughts about it?

I have been using the new software only since Battlefield 3 was released, but I have not encountered any obvious issues with the colour cycling script.

However, I have not extensively tested it while using the keyboard intensively. I will keep an eye out for problems and let you know what I find. :)

i recently got a G19 for my macbook pro and followed the instructions for this script even tried loading the right profile on the profile selector on the G19 LCD screen bur Right CTRL + M1 or M2 or M3 wont start the script... am i missing something? i really looked everywhere on the forum before coming here and asking

This particular script does not work with the new software due to a couple issues. Namely, the new software requires you to specify a device on SetMKeyState and SetBacklightColor.

You can modify it, or use one of the others around.

Would this program work with a G510? And where would I be able to find a video of this program running on the keyboard? I'd like to get a glimpse of what it looks like in action(; thanks
