I am sitting here as we type, play-testing a concept version of Counter-Strike 3D
(which by the way is being switched back to using the WON servers, the way it should have been all along).
It uses Virtual Reality 3D Holographics (almost like the holodeck in Star Trek TNG), and 7.1 Dolby Digital Sound.
So far, the only thing stopping it from being absolutely realistic, is some kind of force-feedback, that's all it needs.
Release date is rumored to be late 2032, probably just in time for the Christmas Buisness.
