- forgot the server settings legend:
Server Settings
Friendly-Fire, # of Team-Kills to be kicked, Ban after # of Kicks, Kick after Idle-Time
Show Mini-Map / Mini-Map-Spotting, Show Hud, Allow Vehicles / Vehicles 3P View
Spawn-at-Squad-Only, Health Regeneration, Health Percentage, Country



Compatibility:

- Compatible with Monochrome LCD G-Series EDIT: NOT G19*
- Compatible with Internet Explorer 8
- Compatible with Windows 7 x64

I. Setup:

1. Unzip the complete folder to a hard drive on your gaming computer.
2. Login to Battlelog with Internet Explorer, download the plugins, test all functions, add your server filters!
3. Enter your Login Data in the config.txt (IV.)
4. Start hooah3.exe

II. About:

HOOAH 3.0 is an LCD-Browser Applet for Battlelog.
this is work-in-prgress and my 1st app!
I left out more features to release
before merry X-Mas !!!

Hey great app! It works smoothly and it shows everything on my G13! Thank you!

I have two simple requests though:
1- can you write down a legenda for the stats: there are too many and not always intuitive stats
2- is it possible, in a new version, to keep all this info with a different font? For instance the page where you can see the kills for all the weapons is very readable, even with small letters. On the other hand, the 2 pages with level, kill ratio, points etc. are somewhat... dispersive.

but i forgot to add this for the server stats (last nite at 4am).
updated this above!


i tried downloading and testing about 300 fonts,
got 150 of them too work and was satisfied with 2 of them
the 3-line-narrow font sucks, i agree, but i gave up looking.
i will keep looking!

Also, you should have enough space, please add the app as an attachment to your post,
that way it will be available as long as the Forum is available.

Filehosters are notorious for deleting stuff that has not been accessed for x-amount of time...

I'd love to check out your creation if I had BF3.

known bugs:

- app will crash if the "Login Successful" Screen doesnt show up (login failed - app continues) => check config.txt! (bugfix soon)

- Internet Explorer 9 is not compatible, will produce "n/a" values in the stats and crash after some time => downgrade to IE8 (IE9 support with next update)

- G19 Users: THE APP DOES NOT WORK WITH G19 .. but i found the problem! supported soon!!

Okay, a few things: is there any way to make the applet refresh more frequently and what are the " E A R S" and "V" percentages on the first stats screen? Also, I second the sentiment to make the text smaller on the first two stats screens as it is in the third; it just looks cleaner to me being small. Might even make it easier to organize the screens more neatly.

Mostly I would just like to know if it could be refresh more frequently, it seems to take forever and I haven't noticed it refresh in game yet but I haven't been using it very long.

-1- the E(37%)ASR V41% means the player made 37% of his combat points as an engineer (then with decreasing percentage Assault, Support, Recon) and he made 41% of his combat points with a vehicle. (this should give a quick characteristic about a player. in this case probably a tank-fanatic). it is calculated from the combat points.

-2- The Stats will only refresh after each round played / mapchange, when they go to the database. Currently there is no other way to do that, since EA does not want to support Logitech. So i set the refresh to 2 minutes. you can manually update by pressing button #4 (right LCD Button) if the new map is loaded.
while the refresh screen is on use button # 1 to cancel the stats screen, #2 to toggle pages (this will stop the page cycling) # 3 to restart the automatic page cycle. i will add a 1min refresh option in the next update.

-3- Yes the one font sucks. i will use the smaller fonts in the next update!
